It’s OFFICIALLY official – Katy Perry is your 2015 Super Bowl Half Time performer and Clevver Music has all the details.
Though rumors have floated around for MONTHS, the singer confirmed what we all expected by releasing a video teasing what we could expect when she takes the stage during football’s biggest night.
The cute teaser starts off with Katy introducing us to her half time show testing facility where she shows us some ideas she’s throwing around. Some fun things she’s considering? Covering the stadium in edible glitter, riding a fire breathing shark covered in bacon, and of course there are some unicorns and kittens involved too. If this is any indication, her Super Bowl half time show is about to be straight up CRAY CRAY.

We agree, Katy. In fact, forget guests at the actual Super Bowl, just fill the stadium with cats. Now THAT would be something to see.
KP even tweeted about the good news saying this:
“My band is in the other room screaming at the TV (and each other) over this Cowboys-Giants game. Can’t wait for February 1st...”
We have to admit, this is a pretty good part on the NFL to name Katy as Half Time performer – guys AND girls will want to tune in. Though, I’m sure they don’t have trouble getting people to watch the Super Bowl since it typically averages around 50 MILLION viewers every year. Also, fingers crossed for some cool guests!
And just a reminder, the 2015 Super Bowl will take place at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on Sunday February 1. I know that I’ll be tuning in – but what about YOU?!
