Maroon 5 In Talks To Headline Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show

But really, who actually cares about the football game when we possibly have Adam Levine to look forward to, and now that the thought is embedded our heads, there’s just no turning back now.
So not only have Adam and his band Maroon 5 been our favorite ‘Sunday Morning’ wakeup call for the last few years, BUT sources have officially revealed that the band is the current front-runner to grace the stage on Sunday NIGHT during the Super Bowl 50 halftime show.
Other bands that the NFL has discussed to perform during the 2016 show have included Coldplay and Superbowl halftime alumn Bruno Mars, who performed during the 2014 show. Billboard previously reported that Bruno was rumored to have been invited back to "curate" the performance with multiple talents, and according to past halftime shows, there is always some sort of surprise appearance, so a Maroon 5/Bruno Mars mashup doesn’t seem too out of reach.
BUT I am deeply sad to report that we can cross one for sure act off our list in terms of performers, and it saddens me to say that Katy Perry’s Left Shark, will more than likely NOT be returning, however the show must go on and will be one for the books.
