It has been officially confirmed that Queen Bey WILL be returning to reprise her halftime show throne, alongside Coldplay for Super Bowl 50 and no, you are NOT dreaming.
The Bey-hive is buzzing with excitement over the rumor-turned-reality, so now that we have your full attention, let me ask you this: Are you all ready for this jelly?
Beyonce will have some VERY large shoes to fill… well, her own shoes for that matter, after sources have confirmed that she will be joining Chris Martin and the rest of Coldplay onstage during their Superbowl 50 halftime show performance in Santa Clara, California.
News of Beyonce’s Super Bowl return is also fitting seeing that she and Coldplay collaborated on a new song featured on the band’s 7th studio album, A Head Full of Dreams, titled “Hymn for the Weekend” so a real-life collab is more than likely.
Rumors of Beyonce returning after three years began spreading after Coldplay's longtime friend and artistic director, Phil Harvey, confirmed that there would be "special guests" (notice guests is PLURAL) involved throughout the show. He previously stated in a video interview, QUOTE, "Today, it’s about how do we stage our special guests. Yesterday, what I was nervous about, it was all about the set list.”
As for the other speculated guests, Bruno Mars is highly expected to make his Superbowl return after two years at some point throughout the 15-minute slot.
