Katy Perry SHADES Taylor Swift After American Idol Contestant Gushes Over Her

We all know there’s been an on-going feud between some of the 2 biggest female names in music: Katy Perry vs. Taylor Swift. Basically it kind of started back in 2014 when Taylor Swift told the Rolling Stone that her and Katy had a conflict with back up dancers. She told the magazine QUOTE “She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me.” Then 3 years after that, Katy Perry told James Corden that Taylor started it. She said QUOTE “I tried to talk to her about it and she wouldn’t speak to me, I do the right thing any time that it feels like a fumble. It was a full shutdown and then she writes a song about me, and I’m like, ‘OK, cool, cool, cool. That’s how you want to deal with it? Karma!”.
The feud almost ended last summer but now some of Katy’s comments on the new American Idol –in which she is a judge on – are making people think maybe the feud is still going strong. Last night during an audition on the show one contestant was asked who he looked up to as a music artist and this is what went down after.
This isn’t the only time Katy potentially shaded Taylor on American idol this season, some people thought this was a poke at the Reputation singer because they claim she mocked her lyrics when she said this:
I can definitely see why people think it could be shade but also let’s look at it from the flip side, Katy could be trying to get back in with Taylor and be friends again. We don’t know?
