Khloe Kardashian clapped back at people who were trying to mommy shame her
It seems like new moms can never win nowadays
Yesterday night, Khloe Kardashian stepped out with her fam to play some poker in Los Angeles. She, Kim and Kendall all tried their hand at gambling, but it wasn’t all just fun and games.
The event was actually to raise money for charity called City of Hope, which helps those living with cancer.
You’d think people would be praising Khloe for doing something for charity, right? Well, it turns out, maybe not.
The reality star took to Twitter yesterday to vent about her frustration with so-called “mommy shamers” who criticized her for leaving her three-month-old daughter, True. She wrote QUOTE: “Mommy shamers r at a high right now. I’m sick, at a charity event & I’m getting slack 4being here bc I have a baby? Her dad is watching her while I’m trying 2bring awareness 2an amazing organization. But either way, what’s wrong w a new mom letting daddy take over 4a few hours?”
She’s totally right! There’s nothing wrong a new mom stepping out of the house for awhile. Especially when they’re the ones that have to deal with a baby 24/7. And it doesn’t mean that they want to be away from their kid. In fact, for Khloe, it’s the opposite.
Just a day before the poker tournament, she tweeted about how guilty she feels whenever she leaves True. In response to a fan who asked her about the best and worst parts of motherhood, she wrote QUOTE: “The worst part is the mom guilt. It’s a real thing. You feel guilty at all times if you have to leave her side. Or really for anything. The best part is everything about her! The unconditional love and the fact that I get to raise a beautiful, strong and intelligent young lady.”

Khloe also revealed that she originally wanted a boy, not a girl. She tweeted QUOTE: “I wanted a boy so badly Because Mason and I are so close. I love our bond. I felt confident in having a boy but God blessed me with my precious True and now I wouldn’t know what to do with a boy. True has made me sweeter and more gentle. God gives you what you need. My BFF 4Life.”
Doesn’t that just pull on your heart strings?
I think it’s safe to say that Khloe really does love True with all her heart, so the mommy shamers need to take a chill pill on this one. But what do you guys think?
