The footage was posted on select websites this week but they have all since been taken down by Kim’s legal team after being sternly reminded that the footage is in fact illegal. The video was recorded after the cops responded to the scene where Kim can be seen on a couch wrapped in a blanket while facetiming someone as the police search the room for evidence. The video is a huge violation of French privacy laws due to the fact that it was a private setting where the parties involved were not aware that they were being recorded. The French authorities are working to find out who recorded the footage and if caught, the person in question could face up to a year in prison with a fine equivalent to $50,000s. As for Kim, she recently signed onto Twitter to do some clean-up on who she follows. She previously followed 121 accounts and she now follows 108.
