These past few weeks have been pretty busy for Kim and even though most of her time was being spent serving looks in Japan, documenting her overseas trip on Instagram, and livin’ it up at Oscar parties with Madonna, Kimmy still found time to call out a Yeezy fan account for spreading false information about Kanye’s brand.
It all started when Twitter account The Yeezy Mafia tweeted that Yeezy Season 7 wouldn’t include any apparel or accessories because Yay “couldn’t do what he wanted to achieve with this collection.” And that’s when Kim K stepped in to defend her husband.
KKW had no mercy when she tweeted back to the Twitter account and said, “How can a verified account represent Yeezy with false information. You do NOT work for Yeezy and NOT affiliated. How are you gonna believe an account that posts fake color ways?”
She then followed up that tweet with another that said QUOTE, “Season 6 was genius. All of my Japan looks are season 7 and will be online soon. Yeezy does not play by fashion rules. The show room was strictly shoes and always intended for that.”
It didn’t take long after Kim’s scathing tweets for the fan account to take down their original tweet. I’m sure Kim had better things to do like eat ramen noodles in the nood, but hey, sometimes you gotta put the chopsticks down just to set a few misleading internet rumors straight.
What did you guys think of this? Are you surprised Kim took time out of her packed schedule to defend Kanye and his fashion brand? Get to talking in the comment section below. When you’re done with that, click right over here to get all the details on Kim possibly shading Taylor Swift on yesterday’s Daily Hollywood Rundown.
