#KiniNews: Muhyiddin asked me to think about it further, says KJ on PN offer

[KiniNews] Khairy Jamaluddin today implied he turned down an offer to join Perikatan Nasional (PN) during his meeting with Muhyiddin Yassin on Monday.

However, he said Muhyiddin asked him to give it some more thought - and that he complied with the request.

“I met him and gave him my views, and then he asked me to think about it further," he said in the latest episode of his podcast which aired today.

Asked by his co-host Shahril Hamdan whether he gave a final answer, Khairy replied he had but agreed to consider it further out of respect.

Meanwhile, Khairy also addressed claims spread on social media that he would be made an “appointed deputy president” in Bersatu.

He said he found such fake news distasteful, and blamed it on Pakatan Harapan cyber troopers.
