Many fans were devastated when news of Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney’s break up broke, but don’t stop rooting for them just yet because Mother Monster has a little something to say.
Let’s get one thing straight, Lady Gaga and Taylor's engagement may have been called off, but these two are in no way completely done with their relationship or each other. The ‘Applause’ singer took to her Instagram late last night to set the record straight about where the pair currently stand with each other.
Lady Gaga shared a sweet black and white picture of her and Taylor holding each other as they walked down a hallway with the caption QUOTE, “Taylor and I have always believed we are soulmates. Just like all couples, we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break. We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared. Please root us on. We’re just like everybody else and we really love each other.”
Earlier that day, before Gaga’s Instagram statement, an insider close to the pair revealed to E! News that “They are taking a break. She’s working on an album, he’s working on his show, they aren’t in the same state, it was just hard. They both love each other very much and they want it to work. It’s just been tough with the long distance.”
So, don’t worry you guys! It’s just a little break, like what Ross and Rachel did when things started to get complicated.
And if these two are anything like Ross and Rachel, they’ll probably get back together in the near future and everything will be fine – for Gaga and Taylor. After all, they are each other’s lobsters!
