Lady Gaga Opens up About Rape and Taylor Swift

Gaga confesses how she really feels about Taylor Swift and reveals that she is a rape survivor. Talk about a loaded interview.
When asked by Howard Stern this week, Gaga revealed that she was raped when she was 19 by a music industry insider.
Gaga revealed that she was extremely guarded about the situation for a long time saying QUOTE – “I was a shell of my former self at one point. I didn’t tell anybody. I didn’t even tell myself for the longest time.” She also mentioned that the incident inspired ARTPOP song “Swine,” saying – “the song is about rape and fury and passion. I had a lot of pain that I wanted to release.” This interview prompted Kesha’s lawyer Mark Geragos to insinuate the “insider” was Dr. Luke that raped Kesha, but Gaga’s camp has denied the connection to the producer.
But despite going through such a traumatic experience, Gaga said that she has come to terms with what happened to her and does not let it dictate her life or define who she is. Go Mother Monster!
On a happier and totally opposite note, Gaga revealed that she can’t say anything bad about headline maker Taylor Swift! But she did confess that she didn’t feel the same way upon meeting her for the first time. Gaga told a story of when she was once seated next to Taylor at an award show when Taylor leaned over and said – “Oh my God! I love Artpop. I love Applause [it’s] my favorite song.”
Gaga just assumed that Taylor was blowing smoke up her butt saying QUOTE – “Yeah yeah yeah. This chick is full of sh-t.” But then her stylist was styling Taylor on a shoot and said Taylor was jammin’ to Artpop the whole time.
Gaga went on to say - “I thought to myself, ‘I like this girl,’ You know why? Because she said the same thing to my face that she said behind my back.”
Kudos to Taylor for not being phony. Monsters and Swifties unite.
