Taylor Swift finally breaks her social media silence, plus a court grants her a major privacy win.
She’s alive! Taylor Swift has shared her first social media post in months, and unsurprisingly, it’s to support some of her closest friends…
After being dark on social media for two months, Taylor Swift took to Instagram to support the ladies of Haim, by sharing a picture of their latest single, “Want You Back”.
Taylor captioned the screenshot of the song QUOTE, “On. Repeat. Til. The. End. Of. Time???????” The pic shows that Tay stopped the song at 13 seconds in, as she usually does, so we know this is definitely her posting the image and not some Haim-loving hacker.
Taylor’s fans excitedly responded to the post with a lot of “She’s alive!” and “We miss you!” comments along with other words of encouragement and love.
Along with breaking her social silence, Taylor also had some good news from the Rhode Island Supreme Court. The court ruled that landowners such as Taylor who own property along the 2 mile stretch of beach there may put up fences blocking the public away from the area. While the attorney general’s office and a number of environmental groups argued that the beach there had been dedicated to the public over a century ago, the court disagreed and found that the beach was, in fact, private property. For Taylor this is obviously a win because now she can smooch all the A-list actors and frolic with all the Victoria’s Secret models she wants in the privacy of her beachfront backyard, without any pestering paparazzi or adoring fans trying to sneak a peak. As long as we still get some bts Instagram pics from those epic 4th of July parties, we’re okay with that.
