Lilly Singh sat down with Jimmy Fallon to dish about her brand new book just released, all while giving the world a lesson on who’s ‘BAWSE’.
She doesn’t go by the name ‘Superwoman’ for nothing, because Lilly Singh’s brand new book is guaranteed to live up to its full ‘bawse lady’ potential!
It’s never a dull moment when YouTuber QWEEN Lilly Singh stops by Jimmy Fallon and teaches us all a lesson or two on being a boss, and it was only fitting that she celebrate yesterday’s release of her brand new book ‘How To Be a Bawse’ with the one and only Jimmy Fallon.
BUT first thing’s first… anyone who isn’t quite familiar with the difference between your usual ‘boss’ and a straight-up ‘bawse’ may need to listen up and take notes, because ya girl is breaking it down:
Lilly then gave credit to her widely successful YouTube platform for her own revelation on becoming a bawse, saying QUOTE, “My journey on YouTube has very much taught me to be comfortable with who I am and be comfortable in my own skin, no matter how weird I am. If I have stretch marks, if I have love handles, I don’t care! I love who I am and that’s when I decide I’m a bawse!”
She even revealed to Jimmy that she mentioned him in the book in the chapter called, “Shake What Your Mama Gave You” after remembering the first time she met Jimmy and noticing that he kindly introduced himself to everyone in the room, regardless of his celebrity status or who the people were. And you know what I gotta say to that?: BAWSE.
But things took a competitive and comical turn when the two got handsy during a game called The Jinx Challenge… and by ‘handsy’ I mean that they were conjoined by the hands throughout the duration of the game. Things started off strong when Jimmy and Lilly each named the same item in the category, resulting in, well… JINX:
The game continued when they couldn’t quite get back on the same wave length, but it was pretty comical nonetheless…
