Melbourne food tour | The unofficial Chinatown | Box Hill’s best food

We’re in Melbourne eating up a storm over a number of weeks. Today we’re at Box Hill Central, a shopping centre on top of the Box Hill train station. Box Hill is one of Melbourne’s unofficial Chinatowns and Box Hill Central is a hub of great food. We’re eating our way around the food court and sharing with you some awesome eats.

Melbourne is a food lover’s dream- from cheap and cheerful eats to fine dining- this city has it all. The diverse population of its people means its food culture is rich and multi-cultural. We used to call this city home so we know it pretty well. We can’t wait to share some of our favourite spots with you plus experience new eats with you along for the ride.

Taiwanese glutinous rice roll $7 and toffee strawberries $7 at Blissful Station
Xiao long bao $14.80 per basket at Kitchen Republic

N.B basically everywhere charges a 1.5% card surcharge
