NYC commuters got an extra special treat this week- Miley Cyrus and Jimmy Fallon went undercover as subway singers!
And there’s a lot more where that came from during Miley’s Tonight Show takeover.
Last night Miley Cyrus and Jimmy Fallon decided to try their hand at subway singing dressed in full disguise. The two took the Tonight Show down to the Rockefeller Center subway stop dressed in western attire and it’s safe to say NO ONE was fooled by Miley’s signature voice.
The two first sang Dolly Parton’s “Jolene” and by the end of the song a huge crowd had gathered around them. That’s when Miley and Jimmy took off their disguises to the crowd’s delight.. and then THIS happened.
That’s right Miley and Jimmy took on an acoustic version of “Party In The USA”- arguably one of the greatest pop songs of all time. And can we just point out Miley said she had NEVER been to a subway station before.
And BEFORE that Miley started her Tonight Show takeover by crashing Jimmy’s cold open.
Yo Miley- you’re gonna have to teach us some of those sweet dance moves. Later in the show Miley performed her single “Malibu” and heartfelt new song “Inspired” back at The Tonight Show studio.
