Miley Cyrus can now add late night co-host to her resume. She has been on every episode of the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon since Monday in celebration of the release of her new album, Younger Now.
The whole thing is very similar to when we got a whole week of Harry Styles on The Late Late Show with James Corden, and honestly, we’re not complaining.
Miley has been helping Jimmy interview guests, played games and most importantly, perform songs off her new album.
One of our favorite moments happened on last night’s show when she and Jimmy photobombed fans when they were taking pictures with the iconic chair from Miley’s show The Voice. Unknown to the fans, Miley and Jimmy sneaked into the background of the picture and did some of the craziest things, like sharing a sub sandwich Lady and the Tramp style.
While the fans may not have exactly appreciated the photobomb, something tells us that meeting Miley and Jimmy is a great consolation prize. Cue the total freak-outs.
To be honest, we would probably react the exact same way.
It isn’t always just fun and games on the show, Miley has had her fair share of emotional moments. On Monday, she paid a touching tribute to the victims of the horrendous attack at Las Vegas by singing The Climb for the first time in six years.
Miley continued to make pretty much everyone tear up when she performed Week Without You live for the first time.
We are seriously loving Miley’s new sound and how she is embracing her country roots and taking us back to where it all started.
We can’t believe that Miley’s takeover week is already halfway over, but we know that it is just going to get better every night.
