Miley Cyrus CRIES After Surprising Hillary Clinton With Thank You Note On Fallon

Miley Cyrus surprised Hillary Clinton with a thank you note on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and things got pretty emotional!
That’s right! Miley Cyrus has been an active supporter of Hillary Clinton, and last night she got to thank her in person. And… there were tears.
If you remember, before the election Miley campaigned HARD for Hillary, showing up on college campuses to speak to students, marching in support of Planned Parenthood, and encouraging her fans to vote Hillary on all of her social media accounts. However, as we all know by now, despite the efforts of Miley and many, many other celebrities, Hillary ultimately did not win the election.
Miley was SO devastated when the election results came in that she even posted a video on Instagram to express her shock and disappointment in the outcome, and of course, the fear she had for the future of our country. But now, after what’s been a very politically charged few months, Miley decided that now all she really wanted was to thank Hillary in person, and because of Jimmy, it happened!
On Jimmy’s super popular segment called ‘Thank You Notes,’ the female staff of the show had the opportunity to grace The Tonight Show stage and personally thank Hillary for all of the strides she’s made for women in our country. One staffer hilariously thanked Hillary for all the work she’s done in healthcare, saying she’s become, QUOTE, “dependent on her government-subsidized anxiety medication” ever since the election. GIRL… we feel you!
But, a really special moment happened at the end of the segment, when Miley surprised Hillary with a thank you note of her own.
Aww! So sweet! Miley went on to call Hillary a role model and an inspiration, and after she was done gushing over her, the two brought it in for a warm hug.
But, as it turns out, the admiration isn’t just one-sided. That’s right! Hillary ended the segment herself with a lesson she learned from the one and only Miley Cyrus.
