Nicki Minaj is on a roll with her music video releases and her latest is for “Regret In Your Tears” which she released exclusively on Tidal.
The video was shot by famed duo Mert and Marcus who Nicki shouted out on instagram in her video announcement saying QUOTE – “#RegretInYourTearsVideo out exclusively on TIDAL.com/NickiMinaj Thank you #MertAndMarcus.” In the video Nicki gives us all the mermaid goddess vibes with some shots of her head submerged in water, we see her perched on a car, and several shots of her in a bedroom with water flooding the room. If all that water is from the regret in the tears of whatever guy she is talking about, someone needs to get that dude a tissue.
In other Nicki news, she made a big announcement today that her fans will no longer be called Barbz. She tweeted saying QUOTE –“ Dear media: they're no longer called BARBZ. They're called #TheKINGDOM thank you for coming. Grab some coffee on your way out.” But Nicki’s fan’s, whatever you want to call us, are not having it on Twitter. One person tweeted – “Who approved this??” Another said – “EXCUSE ME CAN WE VOTE FOR THIS.” One fan straight up called Nicki out saying QUOTE – “Nicki woke up on some bs today.” I guess Nicki thought it was time for a change.
