Nicki Minaj Turns Rappers Into Puppets for "Barbie Dreams" Video

Nicki Minaj has certainly been a trending topic lately for several reasons good and bad. But her latest news breaker is her new music video for Barbie Dreams.
First of all Nicki looks bomb in the video showcasing a number of colorful looks accented by different backdrops. The outfit changes are aplenty interjected with puppet characters who each represent a different rapper. If you’ve heard the song, you know it samples Notorious B.I.G’s song “Dreams” and leaves nothing unsaid as Nicki calls out a number of rappers in a playful way. (some may say) There are definitely some shady lines in there but I’m thinking it’s all in good fun because in the chorus, Nicki sings QUOTE - “I’m just playin, but I’m sayin.”
In the video, you can spot puppets of a number of your faves including Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, Drake, Meek Mill, Quavo, Rae Sremmurd, Weezy, DJ Khaled, Tekashi69 and more. The video was directed by Hype Williams and no doubt will have people talking. The video ends with the puppets disappearing leaving Nicki at the center of the show.
