PETRONAS #AllAboutYouth People's Choice Award 2015: Finalists

PETRONAS #AllAboutYouth 2015 is wrapping up and we need your help deciding the winner!
Six (6) finalists have been selected and the school with the highest number of votes will bring home the AAY People’s Choice Award.

SMK Tanjung Datuk – Miracles of Surroundings
This environmental project uses recyclable wastes to create a rubbish trapper which helps keep the Sungai Rengit Beach clean while the food waste is turned into fertilisers.
SMK Tendong – S.T Mesra Hut
S.T Mesra Hut is a community project where the students refurbished an abandoned hut, affected by a recent flood, into, an activity area for the villagers.
SMK Padang Midin – Warung Santalia
Warung Santalia is a community project for single mothers and university students’ from financially-strapped families in the community which equips them with entrepreneurial skills thus helping them create a source of income.
SMK St. Teresa – Rimang Rami
Rimang Rami is a recreational park which the students set up with a well-equipped playground that provides a safe, entertaining and fun environment for the community.
SMK Bukit Baru – Mosquito Busters
The students created Mosquito Busters, designed to combat Aedes mosquitoes in Melaka, helping to bring down the rate of Dengue in Ayer Keroh to minimum levels in efforts to enhance the well-being of the community.
SMK Tamparuli – Awas Bahaya Di Hadapan
Awas Bahaya Di Hadapan is a flood alert system the students created comprising a flood risk indicator on the main bridge to town which ensures the community’s safety.
