Riverdale Midseason Trailer Gives FIRST LOOK At Betty's Mysterious Brother

The big reveal of Riverdale’s mysterious hooded killer during this week’s mid-season finale might’ve ended on a perfect note considering we could all use a little breather after that bombshell, but the trailer for the remaining half of season two, which picks up next month, just gave us all the more reason to freak the EFF OUT.
Although it isn’t exactly clear what the next Riverdale mystery or murder mystery will be, the trailer gave us plenty to look forward to, but one mystery we’ll be getting much more clarity on came in the last few seconds of the trailer when Betty’s mom says she’s ready to see him… HIM being her son.
In case you’ve been too wrapped up in the whole Black Hood conundrum and totally forgot, YES, Betty does have a brother, as revealed earlier in the season that she gave her son Chic up for adoption after having him while she was in high school. There’s not much else known about Betty’s brother as of yet, but one mystery the Cooper family has yet to unveil is who Chic’s real father actually is.
Many fan theories have predicted that FP Jones is the father of Alice’s son, which explains the many awkwardly tense moments between Alice and FP during what little interactions they had over the past two seasons. But thankfully the wait is almost over until the second half of season two returns on January 17th, so set those DVRs STAT.
