The Riverdale midseason finale left fans at a complete loss for words, but the all-new midseason trailer just released proves that the suspense is far from over.
We just can’t seem to catch a break…
The first half of Riverdale season two has come and gone, and although one mystery is solved, don’t you worry, because there’s plenty more to go around. The beginning of the trailer kicks off with the shocking news that alludes to the fact that the Southside Serpents have lost their home, and South Side high is being shut down, which means that Jughead is forced to return back to his old school roots on the north side.
But in true Riverdale fashion, the transition from the South to the North side won’t exactly be a smooth one. In another scene, the principal of North Side is seen giving Jughead a warm welcoming – and by that, I actually mean a warning that he’ll need to get rid of his South Side Serpent jacket.
Naturally, this doesn’t go down well as seen by the right hooks thrown at the Riverdale High football team, so it looks like we’re in for some serious WWE Smackdown business. The trailer ends on a huge cliffhanger as Alice Cooper is finally ready to come face-to-face with her son she put up for adoption after having him in high school, so it’s safe to say we’re in for just as much, if not MORE, action and suspense yet again.
Riverdale’s midseason premiere kicks back up on January 17th, so set those DVRs now, but I’m curious to know what you guys thought about the trailer, and be sure to share all your thoughts, questions and concerns down here in the comments and as always, don’t forget to subscribe.
