It’s happening. Selena Gomez is over the drama and she’d like to try her luck at love again, because we all know that being single is fun but being in love with the right person is even better. And according to ET, SelGo’s friends are on it, ready to play matchmaker, but with one very serious, non-negotiable: Selena’s future partner cannot be famous. No, no. They refuse to let her date another celeb. QUOTE "[Selena’s] been in a relationship for so much of her life, she really is happy embracing the single life and focusing 100% on herself." But at the same time, who are we kidding. Of course she’s open to love. QUOTE: "Selena loves love. As much as she loves being single, she would love to be in a relationship in the future. In fact, she knows that for a future relationship to be successful, she has to make sure she's the best version of herself first. She looks at relationships differently now -- she isn't looking for someone to 'complete' her. "Her friends want to see her with someone who is not in the industry. She needs someone who's talented and successful, but not a celebrity." Don’t we all! Meanwhile, those rumors of Selena dating one of her best friends’ brothers is so not true. The rumor started when Sel was photographed hanging out with Caleb Stevens, the younger brother of Raquelle Stevens. Just recently they were spotted leaving a cabin in upstate New York. And before that they were keeping each other company at a Taylor Swift concert in Pasadena, California. However, a source close to the singer has quickly and swiftly squashed that rumor, saying to People Magazine QUOTE “They’re absolutely only friends. They’re not dating.” Which is code for they ARE dating and code for they’re NOT dating, so really the quote is irrelevant. What matters here is that Sel and Caleb’s body language does not look like that of heart emojis, but rather that of friend emojis.
