Shawn Mendes Gets EMBARRASSED Revealing His Secret Journal

During “An Evening with Shawn Mendes” at the Grammy Museum in LA, Shawn Mendes is shocked when one of his secrets is revealed.
It’s adorable that Shawn Mendes freaked out that someone knows his secret. How did they know?!
So the event was being moderated by the Grammy Museum’s executive director, Scott Goldman, and had quite a few fans in attendance as well as musicians including Ryan Cabrera and Dave Grohl. Anyway, Shawn opened up to Scott about the success of his third studio album and his fans. He said, "Now I'm 20, and everybody who was 15 listening to me back then is now 20. And they have grown up, too. I'm not afraid of [losing my audience]. I'm not afraid of becoming more mature." Of course when you’re arguably one of the biggest artists in the world right now, it could be easy to change, but he says, “"You have to be humble, but you can't wake up and question it. Because if you start to question it, you start to crumble. There's a balance there.”
Don’t you just love how open and honest he is? He goes on to talk about many other things including why being nervous is a good thing. But when Goldman brought up Shawn’s “Truth Is” journal, Shawn was so confused how he knew about that. He said, “Wow, how did you know this? Did I say this in an interview?! And that’s when Goldman said, “I have my sources.” Shawn then said, “I know what you're talking about. So, I have a journal, and in the journal, I basically go, 'Truth Is...' And I write everything that's true. And I think a lot of the times we lie to ourselves about life and how we feel about people or about things, and I go—no matter how crazy or how obscure this thought is—I go, 'The truth is, this is how I feel about this.' And that's what I have.” He goes on to say “You must've emailed my mom!"
