Taylor Swift Drops "New Romantics" Music Video Dedicated To Her Fans

Post-1989 World Tour, Taylor Swift is looking back on her insane journey. She just released a new music video highlighting clips from last year’s concert, buuut she’s making fans pay for Apple Music to watch it! Literally guys, all chill has been lost!
Whhhy, Taylor, whyyy? I just want to watch your new video, but instead I have to sign up for a three-month trial and then pay 9.99 a month? WHAT?
Okay, okay. So we all know Taylor has a thing with Apple Music now. In case you haven’t seen it yet, she was just featured in a commercial where she’s rapping to Drake and Future’s “Jumpman” and has a little, shall we say, accident on the treadmill.
So we knew there was a collaboration between Taylor and Apple Music in the works. But this is getting a little ridiculous. Taylor threw fans for a loop when she announced “New Romantics” would be the seventh single from her album 1989. The ah-mazingly perfect pop song was unfortunately only a bonus tract on the deluxe edition of the album. So hearing that there would be a music video, was beyond exciting.
Taylor tweeted out a preview of the video this morning with the caption, “The best people in life are free.” But unfortunately, THIS VIDEO IS NOT! Of course because there’s a collab with Apple Music, Taylor wants everyone to go try out the 3-month trial and see how we like it. But if you’re not paying attention, after 3-months is will start charging you 10 bucks.
Fans are going nuts on social media because they can’t watch the video for free. One user said in all caps, “APPLE MUSIC ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME”. Then people just keep commenting, “NO” and asking “Why do you do these things?”
But don’t worry guys, I watched the full video, just so that I can be an amazing host that I am, and give you all the details of what to expect. You’re welcome. Because it’s a love letter to fans, the video features A-TON of clips that show the huge glowing stadiums filled with screaming fans, Taylor having a blast dancing around on stage, and even fans holding up outrageous Taylor signs. It’s definitely something to see. In between the song, Taylor’s voice comes in and says, QUOTE: “I don’t want to forget anything that happened during this tour, it was one of those remarkable moments in time when everything felt exciting.”
And you can definitely tell how exciting it actually was. There’s a few clips of Taylor preparing for the show backstage, and she even features a lot of clips with her back-up dancers. Which is really sweet by the way, because they make the performances even more amazing.
Taylor goes on to end the video with, QUOTE: “Looking out into an endless ocean of crowd that was everything. We’re all really sad that it’s ending, but we’re all really happy because of what it was.” Ahh, Taylor. She’s done it again. Bringing in all the feels with this one. This is gonna be the next Taylor song you will blast in your car and sing at the top of your lungs. I can guarantee you that.
