Taylor Swift Fans SLAM Dua Lipa For Doing THIS

She might have new rules when it comes to dating, but when it comes to celebrity feuds, Dua Lipa might’ve just learned the hard way…
Let it be the first rule of interviewing that when asked to take a side in an ongoing celebrity feud, always steer clear from your actual opinion unless you’re totally cool with receiving threats from diehard fans.
Dua Lipa learned this the hard way when she revealed during an interview with Rolling Stone that back in 2016, she first earned the love of Swifties when she sported a borrowed “Speak Now” shirt for a meet-and-greet in Germany, to which Swifties swarmed her socials with messages of pure excitement, including Taylor herself, who reportedly wrote, “I am screeching with joy.”
But things quickly went south when Dua recalled around the same time that fans dug up an interview in which she chose Kanye West over Taylor Swift during an either/or style segment of the interview. Swifties weren’t as forgiving as Dua revealed QUOTE, “They were sending me snake emojis for, like, three days straight. They’re like, ‘I hope you die.’ I’m like, ‘Yo! I literally didn’t say anything.’”
She then attempted to clarify her reasoning for originally choosing Kanye, saying, “I wasn’t thinking about their beef. I was thinking about their music, and Taylor is amazing, but I’m such a hip-hop fan that I would probably choose Kanye over anyone.”
So let this be a lesson to ALL public figures that when you’re in the public eye, even the smallest of gestures can cause the biggest controversies – thankfully this all went down years ago, and there is probably no beef between Dua and Taylor. And if you ask Tay, more likely than not, it doesn’t even phase her. In fact, Tay has continued to steer clear of the spotlight since the release of her Reputation album back in November. When she’s not rehearsing she’s reportedly been spending most of her time with her boyfriend Joe Alwyn at his north London home – so much so, that friends are joking that that the two are practically living together.
A source told The Sun QUOTE, “Taylor has been spending a lot of time at Joe’s house and has been enjoying going out with his pals to their favorite local haunts. She always tries to keep a low profile but has been having a lot of fun with the group. And some have even been joking that it’s as if she’s moved in with him, as Taylor doesn’t have her own place to live in when she’s staying in the UK.”
Sounds to us like things between the two are going great, and due to Taylor’s upcoming tour schedule, it’s no wonder she’s soaking up as much time with her man as she can.
