Radio DJ Tells Taylor Swift She "Needs To Shower" & Fans Are FUMING

This weekend, Taylor performed to a crowd of 26,000 at BBC’s Biggest Weekend in Wales in reportedly 80 percent humidity. Immediately after coming off stage she was interviewed by BBC radio DJ Greg James, who actually told Taylor Swift she needed to take a shower after the performance.
As you can see in the clip, Taylor took the comment in stride and replied as gracefully as ever, agreeing with the DJ and laughing off his suggestion. If she was even slightly offended by the comment, she hid it like an absolute pro.
Of course, even though Taylor didn’t appear to take offense, her fans SURE DID, and they all took to social media to express their anger over the comment.
One fan Tweeted QUOTE, “I can’t not believe someone had the audacity to tell Taylor Swift to take a shower in her first interview in 2 years. THE NERVE.”
While another commented QUOTE, “I hope everyone Is having a good day except the guy who interviewed @taylorswift13 and told her to take a shower SHE WILL LOOK BETTER THAN YOU SWEATY THAN U EVER WILL CLEAN”. One even joked QUOTE, “Taylor Swift’ planning her revenge song against Greg James”, followed by the crying-with-laughter emoji.
Despite the many angry tweets, there were a number of fans who came to Greg’s defence, insisting that the comment was just his way of joking. One person explained QUOTE, “Nah, I listen to his show everyday trust me that’s just his humour, I’ll always defend Taylor if I believed it was malicious but that’s not his intention at all.”
Greg himself replied to the fan QUOTE, “She really is right. TS has a great sense of humour and we have known each other for ages and had a good catch up after the interview. It’s all cool. It was hot up there. I almost said we should both go for a shower but after this reaction I’m glad I didn’t! X”
