Taylor Swift is confirmed to appear on Saturday Night Live’s much anticipated 40th anniversary special. Yay!
So if you were tuned into the Super Bowl over the weekend and you happened to be paying attention to the commercials, you may have seen the SNL ad. It was one of the only non depressing Super Bowl commercials of 2015. But those names of celeb guests to expect on the upcoming special were flying by so quickly that you might have missed em. So like I mentioned, Taylor is set to appear along with some other fan favorites – including musicians, actors, past SNL stars are more. The list includes Jack Nicholson, Bill Hader, Jane Curtain, Paul McCartney, Jon Hamm, Tina Fey, Kanye West, Jimmy Fallon, Laraine Newman, Zach Galifianakis, Seth Meyers, Jason Sudeikis, Adam Sandler, Paul Rudd, David Spade, Kerry Washington, Fred Armisen, James Franco, Norm MacDonald, Kristen Wiig, Justin Timberlake and Bill Murray. YES!! And don’t forget that some of our favorites were already announced for the SNL ep, including Emma Stone, Derek Jeter, Chevy Chase, Melissa McCarthy, Will Ferrell, Robert De Niro, Paul Simon, Jerry Seinfeld, Molly Shannon, Steve Martin, Mike Myers and Eddie Murphy. So for the big 4-0, Saturday Night Live apparently has a special 3-hour live event planned. The messaging says that the reunion begins on Sunday, February 15 at 8pm on NBC – so pay attention guys, this ep of Saturday Night Live is going down on Sunday night. Alright, big list of stars signed on for the 40th anniversary special and I’m personally super stoked to see everyone come together. NBC this better be funny.
