Taylor Swift REVEALS New Information About TS7!

Taylor Swift is giving us some more hints on her upcoming album, well, because she’s Taylor Swift and that’s what she does. But this time, she’s not afraid to get political.

What’s up guys? It’s Sussan Mourad here with Clevver News and if you weren’t already excited about TS7, Taylor just gave us even more reasons to look forward to her new music.

In a new interview, Taylor said that this record is definitely more political than the music she's made in the past.
Up until recently, Taylor shied away from discussing politics publicly, but now she’s using her platform to stand up for what she believes in.

She said quote, “I definitely think there are political undertones in the new music I made. I’m not planning to stop encouraging young people to vote and to try to get them to talk about what’s going on in our country. I think that’s one of the most important things I could do.”

And like I said, this is definitely new territory for Taylor. She famously didn’t publicly endorse a candidate during the 2016 election, but beginning last year, Taylor started to use her platform to talk politics.

During the 2018 midterm election in Tennessee she posted to Instagram about who she was voting for, which she had never done before.
She wrote quote, “In the past I’ve been reluctant to publicly voice my political opinions, but due to several events in my life and in the world in the past two years, I feel very differently about that now. I always have and always will cast my vote based on which candidate will protect and fight for the human rights I believe we all deserve in this country.”

And according to Buzzfeed, Swift’s Instagram post caused a spike in voter registration nationwide.

Vote.org told them that quote, “We are up to 65,000 registrations in a single 24-hour period since T. Swift's post.”

And we are definitely here for her using her platform for good.

So it looks like this new political Taylor is here to stay and we know she is certainly going to make a real difference.

Now if only we knew when that new album was dropping!?? Guess we’ll have to keep mining for more TS7 Easter eggs. Until then, I want to hear from you guys!
