Is some of Selena’s family still on the fence about the Biebs?
Jelena has been seemingly inseparable this past month, which had fans wondering why the two weren’t spending Thanksgiving together.
Well a source close to the coups told E! QUOTE, "They both spent Thanksgiving with their families. Justin went to Canada and Selena was in Texas. They are still doing really well together, but they agreed it was best for them to be with their families for the holiday."
And while that’s enough of a reason, it wasn’t all. It seems like Selena felt it would be hasty to have a joint Thanksgiving seeing as the pair being back together IS super new.
The source continued QUOTE, "Selena felt it was too soon for Justin to come to Texas with her. Her family is still getting comfortable with the idea of them back together."
It’s probably good that the pair is going slow, almost as if they’re treating it as a brand new relationship and not just jumping back where they left off!
Another insider revealed that although they weren’t together, they still facetimed and chatted the entire time they were apart.
But what about Christmas, you ask? Apparently JB is looking to spend that holiday by her side, but knows that it’s going to be a while for her family to accept their relationship again.
