The Voice Judges Perform Together & Pay Tribute To Christina Grimmie On Season 11 Premiere

The hit NBC singing competition show kicked off Sunday night after the Olympics Closing Ceremony, introducing us to some fresh new, incredible talent, all battling it out to be named the next ‘voice’ with help from their celeb mentors Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and newcomers Alicia Keyes and Miley Cyrus.
Miley seemed totally in her element as the show got started saying QUOTE “I’m ready as I can be, I’m TV ready.” And that she was. Miley looked incredible and like the total boss lady we know she is as she duked it out with her fellow coaches to select the top talent for her team.
Perhaps the most exciting moment of the entire night actually had nothng to do with the competition at all. Miley, Adam, Blake, and Alicia put on a crazy show, performing ‘Dream On’ all together, and it was nothing short of amazing. Check it out.
Talk about talented. They sound amazing, so these new competitors are obviously in great hands.
The Voice also, gave a warm shout out to Christina Grimmie, perhaps one of their most famous competitiors, who was tragically gunned down this Summer after her own performance. Christina’s fame skyrocketed after she sang her way into all of our hearts during her season on The Voice. The network dedicated the show to Christina with a message that read “In loving memory of our friend Christina Grimmie,” as the episode came to an end. The Voice officially kicks off this week this on NBC.
