This celebrity loved designer is giving no love to Melania Trump!
Fashion designer Sophie Theallets has used her talents on celebrities like Shailene Woodley, Kim Kardashian West and our current first lady Michelle Obama. However, the designer shared an open letter to twitter refusing to dress the next first lady and she urges other designers to do the same. Some of the letter reads quote, “"The Sophie Theallet brand stands against all discrimination and prejudice. Our runway shows, ad campaigns, and celebrity dressing have always been a celebration of diversity and a reflection of the world we live in.” Though politics can be a touchy subject she also states that her business is family owned and its not just about the money for her. Its about using artistic freedom. Sophie was born in France and fully supported the Obama administration and said it was a quote, “highlight and honor” to dress our current first lady for the past eight years.
The tweeted letter seems to be getting a lot of support. Now I want you guys to weigh in. Do you think other designers will follow suit?
