The pro-Trump rapper Kanye West is ‘woke’ and says he’s been used to spread political messages.
Outspoken MAGA hat wearing Kanye West fired a series of tweets that made it clear, he has had a change of heart and is distancing himself from politics. All, I have to say is…FINALLY! We miss the days when Kanye would focus on his actual craft. On Tuesday, Kanye went off on a rant, but this time it was a more positive one that may win some of his followers back. He first tweeted QUOTE, “My eyes are now wide open and now realize I’ve been used to spread messages I don’t believe in. I am distancing myself from politics and completely focusing on being creative.”
He went on to share exactly how he was used by conservative commentator, Candace Owens saying QUOTE, “I introduced Candace to the person who made the logo and they didn’t want their name on it, so she used mine. I never wanted any association with Blexit. I have nothing to do with it.”
As you may or may not know, Blexit encourages African-Americans to leave the democratic party in favor of the GOP. The merch- t shirt designs that were just released were allegedly designed by Ye, but he is now claiming he had nothing to do with it.
He went on to thank his loved ones and community for supporting his ACTUAL beliefs and vision for a better world.
His wife Kim Kardashian and even his mother-in-law Kris Jenner have stood by his side despite the rapper’s controversial rants. He went to show off his compassionate side by tweeting, QUOTE “I support those who risk their lives to serve and protect us and I support holding people who misuse their power accountable. I believe in love and compassion for people seeking asylum and parents who are fighting to protect their children from violence and war.”
He ended his series of tweets by saying he supported creating job opportunities for those who need them the most and went on to take a jab at president Donald Trump by saying, “I support common-sense gun laws that will make our world safer.”
What do you guys think of Kanye distancing himself from politics? Did he write the tweets, or do you think he only did it amid the backlash he has been facing? Sound off in the comments section below, click right over here for more and don’t forget to subscribe.
