Adele Reveals Rihanna Squad Goal & How Amy Winehouse's Death Made Her Fear Fame

It may seem like a bit of a paradox for a world-famous musician to fear the perils of fame itself, but Adele has no prob admitting where her aversion stemmed from in her tell-all interview.
Appearing as a bare-faced beauty covering the newest issue of Rolling Stone magazine, Adele coincidentally has nothing to hide about her fear of fame. However, she first sets the record straight by saying she doesn’t HATE being famous, she’s really just frightened. She said QUOTE, "I think it's really toxic, and I think it's really easy to be dragged into it.”
She also admits that watching Amy Winehouse deteriorate for all to witness is what she is most scared of, saying QUOTE, “We were all very entertained by her being a mess. I was f---king sad about it, but if someone showed me a picture of her looking bad, I'd look at it. If we hadn't looked, then they'd have stopped taking her picture. That level of attention is really frightening, especially if you don't live around all that showbiz stuff."
However, the success of her first track “Hello” since her hiatus has only seemed to bring out positive feedback, but Adele also admitted that she’s lost touch with the musical world and what seems to be “cool” these days. She reveals, "I've lost touch with music. Not, like, all music...but I feel like I don't know what's going on in the charts and in popular culture. I've not lost touch with, like, reality—just with what's current."
But apparently she hasn’t lost ALL touch… Adele has managed to stay up-to-date with the whole “squad” lingo and when asked who she’d like to join her squad, she called upon the baddest Barbadian she knew to be the first inducted into her gang. "It's not as interesting as some of the other squads that are around right now, but maybe Rihanna can be in my squad! That would be really cool. Oh, God. She's life itself, isn't she? I love her."
