Happy Monday! Who wants to kick their week off by scaring the crap out of themselves? Well if your answer was yes, you’re in the right place because the character teaser for American Horror Story Freak Show is about to do just that. Here’s a quick look at Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Michael Chiklis, Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters in the Freak Show:
Uh, so I think we can all agree that the clip is living up to this season’s theme, because I’m more freaked out than ever, just from watching that clip which didn’t even have any dialogue. Just to recap, we saw, Kathy Bates as the bearded lady, Angela Bassett as the tri-breasted wife of Michael Chiklis who we see as the world’s strongest man, Sarah Paulson as the Siamese twins Bette and Dot Tattler, and Evan Peters as the Bearded Lady’s son who also appears to have some sort of claw hand thing going on. As you guys might already know, the Freak Show will be set in the quiet town of Jupiter, Florida in 1952 – but things won’t stay calm for long after the big top arrives and brings with it some major darkness. The official show breakdown says QUOTE “This is the story of the performers and their desperate journey of survival amidst the dying world of the American Carny experience.” Okay, so I’m completely freaked out…but what about you guys. What did you think of this look at the latest incarnation of AHS? Even Evan Peters went on the record to say the script was giving him nightmares…so I’m pretty sure that says it all!
