Check out Camila Cabello’s dramatic “I Have Questions” encore performance from the Billboard Music Awards, plus she gets candid in a new behind the scenes interview.
Camila Cabello proved to be a solo force to be reckoned with at last night’s BBMAs, and her emotional encore performance just completely sealed the deal.
Camila debuted her single “Crying in the Club” live earlier in the awards show and completely blew us away with the fiery and energetic performance. But she changed things up for her encore performance of “I Have Questions”, which proved to be a more dramatic and emotional number for the solo artist.
The encore featured two interpretive dancers and hundreds of red petals, in addition to some crafty camera work of shooting parts in reverse to give the performance a surreal touch. Camila opened up about the process of shooting the video in a Behind the Scenes video for Xfinity, and how she had to learn the song backwards to in order for the cool effect of moving backwards in time to work
In addition to giving us the behind the scenes scoop on the shoot, Camila also spoke about the process of writing “I Have Questions”. She explained that she’d started writing the song in a hotel bathroom over a year and a half ago while she was going through a difficult time emotionally, and that running into the person the song was written about helped push her to record the epic number...
