Celebs Support Leslie Jones Following Website Hack

On top of all the hateful, racist messages Leslie Jones has been receiving, the Ghostbusters star has now become a victim to a horrific hack that’s put her body and her identity on blast.
When someone hacks your iCloud who you gonna call?! Your famous friends! And the FBI.
On Wednesday, August 24th, Leslie’s privacy was seriously violated when a malicious internet user hacked her phone and her iCloud. The Saturday Night Live star’s passport, driver’s license, and nude photos were all published to her personal website along with a video of Harambe the gorilla who was shot- because these cyber bullies are racist pieces of shit. It was all up for hours before the entire site was taken down.
While neither Leslie nor her reps have commented on the matter, Leslie’s famous friends and peers all expressed their support for the ‘Ghostbusters’ actress on Twitter. Paul Feig, the man who directed ‘Ghostbusters’ was one of the first to come to Leslie’s defense. He tweeted QUOTE, “What’s happening to @Lesdoggg is an absolute outrage. Alright, haters, trolls, ‘comedians,’ whoever the fuck you all are, you’re juts said.”
Katy Perry was among the many celebs that defended Leslie. The ‘Rise’ singer tweeted in support QUOTE, “Do not give your eyeballs to this racist, hate-filled, misogynoir crime. I #StandWithLeslie.” While Questlove called out those who stayed silent during this horrific event. He wrote, “These acts against Leslie Jones…are sickening. It’s racist & sexist. It’s disgusting. This is a hate crime. This ain’t ‘kids joshing round’ and ya’ll making side comments and jokes and not speaking out is not cool ya’ll.”
Leslie’s SNL peers also vocalized their support on Twitter. Aidy Bryant wrote, ‘So angry, disgusted, and sad about this racist violent assault on Leslie.’ Taran Killam tweeted, ‘May many (more) bad things befall the cowards who’ve attacked my friend, @Lesdoggg. They are the worst of humanity, where she is the best.”
Since the hack, TMZ revealed that the FBI has exclusively taken on the case and they’re currently developing a strategy for tracking down the person or people who violated Leslie’s privacy. It’s currently unclear if the agents from the west coast or east coast will be involved in the investigation since the SNL star lives in both LA and New York, but rest assured the hacker or hackers will be found. Also, all she did was make a movie. She wasn’t bothering anybody! What the F?! Why hurt this poor woman?! May her strength and resilience outshine the evil in these cyber bullies.
