Gleeks were SHOCKED on Thursday when they learned that Chris Colfer was quote "let go" from Glee, but in the short time it took us all to begin processing the INSANE news, we learned it was all FAKE. Yes, Twitter-verse was in a tizzy after he sent out a tweet that read: "Due to personal issues, I have been let go from the cast of GLEE. Explanations will come shortly..." Fans went into full on panic mode, but Chris' manager quickly confirmed with The Hollywood Reporter that he wasn't going anywhere, for now. PHEW. That was a close one. Dang those sneaky hackers -- they really had us going there! Glee's producers also spoke about the incident saying in a statement: "We've been alerted that Chris Colfer's Twitter account has been hacked. Rumors of his dismissal from Glee could not be further from the truth." Chris -- who actually won a Golden Globe for his role of Kurt Hummel on the popular FOX show -- will indeed return for Glee's sixth and FINAL season, which won't debut until sometime in 2015. At the end of Glee's fifth season, Chris' character Kurt and his McKinley pals promised to meet up in six months to check in on everything going on in their lives. There's also been talk of a major time jump for the final season -- so stay tuned on that. Thank GOODNESS this was all a misunderstanding -- we couldn't imagine Glee without Klaine, could you?
