Alright, Gleeks -- it's time to play the good news/bad news game. This is never fun... So the bad news is first. It looks like Glee's fifth season is getting cut back to 20 episodes from its originally planned 22. But there is a bit of a silver lining. This change means that we might get a super-sized final season! As in the 6th season, which is clearly confirmed, might just have those extra 2 episodes... which would make the final season an impressive 24 episode. Regarding this change-up, most people are thinking that it was announced because production was halted earlier in the season as everyone was dealing with Cory Monteith's death. So this season's episode cut is confirmed, and keep in mind that it was noted earlier this year that the show's sixth season will solely focus on the New Direction's peeps in NYC, such as Rachel, Kurt, Santana and that crew... and that's something we think we can get on board with!
