The supposed season 6 "time jump" was sort of set up at the end of this episode—because Rachel was cast in her very own Fox TV show. On the episode a crazy writer was sent to create a pilot based on Rachel Barry's life—and POOF! Just like that Rachel is giving up her Broadway dreams for Hollywood. So the question is: will Season 6 pickup as her show is being filmed... or after it's been cancelled? As for the rest of the gang: Sam found modeling success after his abs appeared on the side of a bus and decided to move home. Mercedes breaks up with him after he kissed another girl and she heads out on her mall tour. As for our lover boys Blaine and Kurt, they make up after some Shirley MacLaine showcase drama (Clip 1). Where Blaine pulls Kurt up on stage anyways. Awwww! And in "owwww" news, MIA Santana was nowhere to be seen after Naya Rivera storming off set rumors circled the Internet and she was written out of the finale. They explained Santana's glaring absence by saying she was filming another Yeast I Stat commercial in Iowa, and to fill that empty space Brittany S Pierce made a cameo! Britt finally escaped Lesbos Island and Mercedes helped her out by offering her a spot to backup sing and dance on her mall tour. So what's in the future for Glee in the final season? Will Rachel reunite with the gang? Will they ALL move to LA? The friends decide that in six months they would reconvene in NYC to catch up: a la the time jump.
