The Glee cast is back in action for their very last season! Lea Michele took to her Twitter account to share a first look photo of herself on set with co-star Heather Morris, who is returning as Brittany. The two gals, who appear to be in character, look quite studious as they peek into a book, with Lea pairing the photo with a caption that reads:
"Love being on set with this lady! Welcome to twitter @HeatherMorrisTV! #GleeSeason6"
And get excited because that’s not the only teaser Lea shared with fans, as she also posted a photo of herself in character wearing a bright pink top and some floral shorts, and, wait, are those neon socks we see?! Lea sent out the photo via Twitter with the hashtags: “#Glee #80s #Dancin'” So it looks like we can expect some 80s from the upcoming sixth season – we approve!
And speaking of 80s, Chord Overstreet also showed off his best retro gear by posting a photo of himself rocking some neon clothes with the caption “Flashy.” Another sneak peek he gave was posting a photo with a newly platinum blonde Dianna Agron, saying “Now one with Lady Di.” Very cute, guys.
Lea and Chord aren’t the only Glee stars who shared a tease of the show’s sixth and final season, as Darren Criss posted a little sneak peek of their first dance rehearsal by tweeting out a sweaty snapshot of himself.”
Going back to Heather for a second, she also posted a photo of herself and Kevin McHale aka Artie and said: "Love this picture and this boy :) happy to be back.”
As you might recall, the show’s sixth and final season will center on Rachel Berry returning to Lima Ohio after a failed television career, and her efforts to put the Glee club back together. Glee’s final season will boast 13 episodes and won’t begin airing until 2015. BUT! We also heard that Lea Michele’s Rachel Berry will be singing “Let It Go,” so that’s pretty exciting, especially since that song is originally sung by Idina Menzel who plays her biological mom on the show. Wouldn’t it be cute if Idina returned to make it a duet with her daughter?
