Glee Adds Shirley Maclaine to Season 5 Cast

Glee is known for its many, MANY guest stars, and it looks like they're adding yet another HUGE name to their already impressive roster! It's being reported that the legendary Ms. Shirley MacLaine will stop by the show for multiple episodes. Apparently, she'll be taking on the role of a New York City socialite who wants to help Blaine become a super star. Shirley's first episode is set to air sometime later this month, and we have to say -- we think this Oscar winning actress will totally KILL it on this show. And of course, we can't wait to see what songs she has up her musical sleeve. I mean, she's gotta sing a LITTLE something right? And as we reported last week, Glee's fifth season has been cut short and this current season will only air 20 episodes as opposed to the originally planned 22. However, there's word that they might film the other two episodes anyways, and tack them onto the sixth and final season for a supersized run of 24 episodes. Also, the show's final season will solely focus on the gang in NYC -- but we're sure you Gleeks knew that already. Alright guys, how are you feeling about Glee's latest casting news?
