Demi Lovato has been dropping hints left and right featuring short previews from her new album Confident, and the first clue has officially been found.
And today it was announced that a lucky Lovatic has found the Confident box preview hidden in New York City of Demi’s track “Stone Cold” and BOY does the girl have PIPES for days.
Just last night Demi took to her socials to let fans know that she would be hiding little boxes with previews of her album over the next week. Shortly after, she posted the first clue as to where the first box was hidden, which read, “Ok first box is out!!! Hint: NYC. TriBeCa. Pier 25. GO!! #findconfident” accompanied by a picture of what could only be the location of the box.
And sure enough, a fan by the name of Matt Case, found the box with the 15-second preview of Demi singing “Stone Cold” in a recording studio, and I kid you not, I got chills after this one, y’all. Take a listen:
So judging by the sound of this preview, this will be another one of those power ballads that Demi puts her heart and soul into, which’ll most likely send us through a wave of emotions, just like her hits “Skyscraper” and “Warrior”. And we can’t forget about that last screaming note she hits at the end of the clip, which just goes to show that the full version of the song will NO DOUBT be flawless.
