Demi Lovato is putting the tattoo artist that’s dissed her in her place and nothing has ever been sweeter.

Okay guys, so in case you missed it, earlier this week, a woman named Ashely McMullen took to instagram out of basically nowhere to comment on a lips tattoo she’d done for Demi years ago that Demi later decided to cover up. I should mention that Demi referred to after her “vagina tattoo,” because on the real, that’s pretty much what it looked like. The tattoo artist got super agro on social media saying “thanks for getting that tattoo covered up I did for free that you specifically asked for.” The artist then when on to put Demi on blast for apparently being drunk, not paying her at all, and then, took it to next level by claiming Demi peed all over her toilet seat, calling her a slob and sarcastically saying QUOTE “it’s a really nice example to people you’re setting saying to not do drugs.” So weird.

Anywho, Demi is absolutely not one to let anyone walk all over and she’s also willing to take responsibility for all of her mistakes so pretty much, this tattoo artist called out the wrong person. Here just a few highlights from Demi’s amazing response: Dear Ashley McMullen, I wasn’t going to acknowledge your bitter Instagram comments but since your side of the story has picked up some headlines, I would like to share my thoughts and send you a proper apology. First, I would like to say I’m really sorry I don’t remember you or getting tattooed by you, but as you know I was fucked up and sometimes people act like “#turds” when they’re loaded. Second, I apologize for my “#peepeetoiletseat”… That wasn’t on purpose
Demi then went on to apologize for making fun of Ashley’s work (aka the vagina tat), BUT she also oh so snappily called out Ashley for tattooing a very intoxicated 18 year old ona tour bus, using zero judging and basically doing the tattoo because Demi was famous. About Demi not giving her credit, Demi finished off by saying this: perhaps you could’ve thought about all of this as a blessing that I forgot everything about you – that was until you outted yourself for the now internationally infamous “vagina tattoo.” But you’re right, I should give credit where credit is due, and you Ashley, surely deserve credit for this one. #justputitonmytab

Mic drop. Well-said Demi. I love that she doesn’t deny any of her own responsibility but it’s kind of low to do a tattoo on someone who is clearly wasted, super young and is clearly going through something ONLY because they’re famous.
