DJ Khaled may have performed I’m The One, but he wasn’t the only Khaled to hit the BET Awards stage.
I’m The One has definitely become one of 2017’s summer hits and DJ Khaled brought the summer fun to the BET Awards stage thanks to palm trees, a huge yacht named Asahd, and girls dancing on that yacht of course. The last pieces of the puzzle are all of DJ Khaled’s friends there to perform with him.
This was arguably one of the best performances of the night, but there was a noticeable absence. Justin Bieber wasn’t there to sing his parts live because he’s currently touring overseas, but there was someone who joined everyone on stage that made up for his absence. I’m talking about DJ Khaled’s son and social media star Asahd.
Did you see his headphones and his suit which by the way matched Gucci Mane? I mean this kid can’t get any cooler. When the song ended DJ Khaled tells the audience that he did it for his son and has the audience chant Asahd’s name. Overall it was a great performance, but I want to hear your thoughts.
