Facebook just released their “Most Talked about Entertainers of 2015” and the person who took the number one spot just may surprise you…
We’ve liked, we’ve updated, we’ve shared, and now we have the Most Talked about Entertainers on Facebook for you right here on Clevver Newsfeed.
This may actually come as a surprise to some, or at-least us Swifties, but Ed Sheeran beat out his bestie Taylor Swift for the top spot on Facebook’s Most Talked about list in 2015. It’s a global list, so that just means Teddy was getting love from everyone all around the world! But, my fellow Swifties, have no fear. Tay actually got the number 2 spot and I’m sure she doesn’t mind coming in second to her equally talented bestie. After TSwizzle is none other than Kanye West. I mean, his announcement to run for president in 2020 did have people talking about it for days!
Aside from celebrities, us Facebook users talked a lot about TV shows and I mean A LOT. We’re just all really passionate about our shows, okay?! Anyway, if you’re wondering which show clogged up our Facebook newsfeed the most this past year, it’s Game of Throne. According to Facebook, Game of Thrones took the number one spot and is followed by The Walking Dead. Apparently killing off tons of characters each season and keeping everyone on the edge of their seat is the way to go!
As far as movies go, reaching the number one spot is a movie that hasn’t even come out yet. I’m sure you already know which one it is, but in case you don’t, the number one most talked about film on Facebook Star Wars: The Force Awakens! Oh, wipe that surprised look off your face, you knew it was coming. In the number two and three spot are Furious 7 and Jurassic World. Magic Mike XXL came in at number 9 and the majority of those Facebook comments and statuses were probably from me… guilty.
