Emotional NEW Miley Cyrus Song "Hands of Love" for Freeheld Film

Okay so lets back it up a bit… The movie “freeheld” is a story about a REAL life lesbian couple who fought for domestic partner rights in New Jersey County after one of the women was diagnosed with terminal cancer. The Movie stars both Julianne Moore and Ellen page, but you’re probably thinking Ryland… What about Miley…
Welll, Miley got involved AFTER Linda Perry… Formally known as a member of the 90’s rock band… 4 non blondes wrote the track ‘Hands of love’ for the film. Perry who has also written hits for pop stars like Pink AND Christina Aguilera normally doesn’t write for studios because she says it stresses her out, however after seeing this film, she was immediately inspired and it sort of just happened.
When it came time to finding a vocalist for the song it was actually Ellen Paige who suggested our girl Miley Cyrus… Take a listen:
We dig it… Right??? Ellen spoke out on Mileys behalf saying QUOTE: “She has a really raw, unique, awesome, beautiful voice, and Miley’s doing a lot of incredible things for the LGBTQ community, I just thought it was going to be a perfect fit. She and Linda made something really special. I kept listening to it after I heard it.”
And as for Miley she got an opportunity two stand behind some of her favorite actresses, while also combining her love of music and the LGBT community… She said QUOTE:
“I think Ellen Page is super amazing and brave, and Julianne Moore, I told her drunkenly one night at an afterparty—I like film, but I’ve never been a fan of somebody in film or had favorite movies, but all my favorite movies that I do have, she is in. She picks amazing roles.”
Although it’s a change of pace for Miley who recently dropped her FREE Dead Petz album, Perry had nothing but great things to say about Miley saying QUOTE: “She walked in with no entourage, no fuss, no anything. She came to be of service for the song and the movie and didn’t bring ‘Miley’ with her.”
The song will play during the end credits of the upcoming powerful movie, and I’m pretty excited to see it myself.
