Fans REACT to the ‘Coven’ witches returning to American Horror Story ‘Apocalypse’
This’ll go down as one of the most epic TV character returns of all time.
If you’re not all caught up with ‘Apocalypse’ right now, then be warned because there are some MAJOR spoilers ahead!
In the final moments of episode 3 of ‘Apocalypse’, fans finally got the big return we’ve all been waiting for: The Coven Witches. Their return came right after all of the humans of Outpost 3 were murdered thanks to Michael Langdon’s evil scheming, it could not have been more epic. Cordelia, Myrtle, and Madison waste no time in finding their sisters, and promptly bring Coco, Mallory, and Dinah back to life. In the final moment of the show, Madison kneels before Mallory and says the now ICONIC line, “Surprise bitch. I bet you thought you’d seen the last of me.”
Fans could not contain their excitement over the Coven Witches finally making their debut on the mashup season. And even though it took us three whole episodes to get there, it seems like most ‘Apocalypse’ viewers felt the return was worth the wait.
One fan tweeted QUOTE, “THE COVEN WITCHES BITCH IM CRYING THANK YOU GOD”, while another pointed out QUOTE, “You know, a lot of people hated on Coven back in the day and now everyone is crying for the witches and Coven. I see you. I see.”
Another astute fan pointed out QUOTE, “Michael said he thought he got rid of them all. So he must have especially gone after witches to make sure they didn't get in his way but didn't succeed with the coven still being alive.”
Of course, while most fans were beyond thrilled to see the Coven witches roll up to the Rolling Stones’ “She’s a Rainbow”, many also have no idea what to make of everything else that went down during the episode. One fan joked QUOTE, “When you’re excited to see the Coven witches but confused about everything that just happened.” Same, sis, same.
We’ll obviously have to tune in next week to see how the Coven witches will handle Michael Langdon, who at this point we can all agree is the Antichrist, right?
