Fans REACT to Madonna's BIZARRE Aretha Franklin Tribute at 2018 VMAs

maybe the part where she talks about being mistaken for a prostitute and living in a crack house? Just a suggestion. Or the part where she calls herself a skinny white girl?
Definitely one of the weirder moments of the night was Madonna’s tribute speech about Aretha Franklin, and the internet isn’t shying away from calling the pop star out.
But…. was it a tribute to Aretha or Madonna’s life story? I’M JUST SAYING.
Listen y’all Madonna is an absolute icon, but she veered way off that path tonight when she came out to speak on Aretha Franklin’s recent passing.
After a large projection of Aretha slid up to reveal Madonna, she walked out to the mic in a black poncho and… a head piece of sorts… and honestly her look is pretty tough to explain in words!!!
She started talking about her journey as a dancer in New York. It took her….quite some time before eventually getting to Aretha. She told a story about an audition she did where she performed an accapela Aretha song, but then quickly veered to the disappointing news that she didn’t book the part. And then…. other ….odd subjects were talked about before she eventually announced the last award of the night for Video of the Year.
Anyway, point is that the speech was noticeably wild and didn’t really pay tribute to Aretha much at all.
Many people were poking fun at the tribute on social media with one user saying QUOTE, “Travis Scott gave a better Aretha Franklin Tribute than Madonna and All he said was RIP Aretha Franklin.”
And another person tweeting QUOTE, “Why does Madonna look like she’s about to tell me that drinking Kombucha can cure cancer?”
And a guy on the side of Madonna in the audience is already getting a lot of attention because of the moment he took his sunglasses off while staring right into the camera during her lengthy speech.
