Camila Cabello DEDICATES Video of the Year Award To Madonna at 2018 MTV VMAs

Tonight it was all about Camila who won not only Artist of The Year but also Video of the Year
At her first MTV VMA’s as a solo artist, Camila was nominated in five categories so we knew the odds were ever in her favor, but winning two VMA’s (one for Best New Artist AND for Video Of The Year) was something that caught her off guard.
Madonna introduced the category with a very long speech…really building up that Video of the Year anticipation ….and when she finally announced that Camila had won the VMA for Havana, our girl took to the stage bowed down (9:04) to Madonna and then dedicated her award to the Queen of Pop.
As much as we’d like to say that we’re not super shocked about this win (I think Havanah has over 660 million views on YouTube), I think it is important to note that Camila was up against several amazing videos this year in the Video of the Year category including Ariana Grande‘s “No Tears Left to Cry”, the Bruno Mars featuring Cardi B remix of “Finesse,” Childish Gambino‘s “This is America”, Drake‘s “God’s Plan”, and The Carters‘ “APES**T.”
