First Look at Lili Reinhart Playing Young Alice in Riverdale

As fans know the special television event will have the Riverdale cast taking on the roles of their parents as high school students in the early 90s and it’s the throwback we never knew we needed.
Entertainment Weekly posted these three photos to Instagram giving us a look at Lili Reinhart as Alice Cooper, Camila Mendes as Hermione Gomez/Lodge, KJ Apa as Fred Andrews, Madelaine Petsch as Penelope Blossom, Ashleigh Murray as Sierra McCoy, and Cole Sprouse as FP Jones.
These pics reveal some pretty noticeable physical changes in the cast, which we’re totally digging.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Riverdale creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa shed some light on what to expect from the evening, besides the epic changes in appearance saying QUOTE: "One of the things that the kids discover pretty early on is that the murder victims in the present were playing a game called Gryphons & Gargoyles, which is of course the Riverdale version of Dungeons & Dragons,” he said. "And what our kids in the present discover is that their parents, when they were in high school, were also playing this game and there was a similar murder that happened in the past.”
